TDI CCR Air Diluent Instructor - Unit Specific

This is the instructor level certification course for instructors wishing to teach the unit specific closed circuit rebreather course. The objective of this course is to train instructors to teach rec
reational rebreather diving, and to develop basic rebreather diving skills appropriate to di
ving within the normal recreational depth limits for no decompression diving to 30 metres using oxygen (O2) and an air diluent.

Pre-requisites:

Minimum age 21
Certified TDI unit specific Rebreather Diver
Certified TDI Advanced Nitrox Instructor, or equivalent
Provide proof of 250 verified logged dives with 100 being on nitrox
Provide proof of a minimum of 100 logged dives and a min. of 100 hours on the specific unit
Be a certified rebreather diver (not unit specific) for a minimum of 12 months.  
Assist on at least 1 complete unit specific user course to the satisfaction of the instructor trainer
If the rebreather is a TDI approved sidemount rebreather, the student must hold the TDI Sidemount Instructor certification or equivalent.

This course must be combined with an actual TDI CCR Air Diluent Diver Course
Day #1 - Introduction, Theory, Equipment assembly & critique, Confined Water Session
Day #2 - Dive 1, Dive 2
Day #3 - Dive 3, Dive 4
Day #4 - Dive 5, Dive 6
Day #5 - Dive 7, Theory Exam
